Thoughts from Thomas Jefferson in regards to radical Islam.

Thomas Jefferson was the greatest of the Founders, as he understood the need for complete freedom, along with a belief of strong national defense. Our war as a Nation against radical Islam started during Thomas Jefferson's first term, and is still present today, if not more of a threat against all the Nations of the earth.

Thomas Jefferson wrote the following passage after meeting with the Ambassador of Tripoli in 1785.

It was written in their Koran, that all nations which had not acknowledged the Prophet were sinners, whom it was the right and duty of the faithful to plunder and enslave; and that every muslim who was slain in this warfare was sure to go to paradise. He said, also, that the man who was the first to board a vessel had one slave over and above his share, and that when they sprang to the deck of an enemy's ship, every sailor held a dagger in each hand and a third in his mouth; which usually struck such terror into the foe that they cried out for quarter at once

These words ring as true in present day America as they did after the Founding of America, we face a dangerous threat in radical Islam, it is our responsibility to end it once and for all.
