Glenn Beck Going to Alaska on 9/11

I don't know exactly why and I'm not sure what this has to do with Sarah Palin's planned event there, but it appears that the pair will be in Anchorage for some event taking place in the main convention center there. Former Governor Palin has an event planned which is still unannounced.

I hate to do this, but I'm going to cite the Huff Po as a source. They were actually one of the first ones with the story.

Glenn Beck addressed his trip to the Frontier State on his radio show this week, calling it a "vacation" but keeping the nature of the event vague.

"I'm gonna give a speech up there and Sarah's gonna give a speech, but that's it," Beck said.

Of course there's rampant speculation over a presidential bid, but this seems unlikely. Beck also just said that he will not run for the Presidency, at least in 2012, despite countervailing research.

So what do you think is going on? Commemorative event? Presidential bid? Just a political pep talk?
